On 5 February 2018, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights H.E. Zeid bin Ra’ad Al Hussein invited AJAR and 19 other civil society groups to discuss the implementation of human rights in the region. This occasion, which happened during High Commissioner Zeid’s official visit to Indonesia, also marks the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 25th anniversary of Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action. Together with KontraS, AJAR delivered a joint letter and submission to the High Commissioner Zeid and the OHCHR office in Bangkok.
