This is part of AJAR research project on gender justice in three countries, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and Myanmar. After conducting documentation in Indonesia and Timor-Leste during 2013 about women victims’ violation and strategy for survival, the field researchers and facilitators gathered in January 2014 in a workshop analysis to discuss the findings, evaluate the process in each field, and formulate the strategy for the next phase of the research.
There has been a rich discussion during the three-day workshop and we elaborated the findings into a photo book in Indonesian and Tetum edition. AJAR also conducted the similar workshop for Burma/Myanmar team in July 2014. AJAR combined its findings with the previous one in Indonesia and Timor-Leste and produce a complete version of photo book in English edition.
