TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE ASIA NETWORK
The Transitional Justice Asia Network (TJAN) is an Asian regional hub of transitional justice experts, which aims to facilitate learning and knowledge-building on transitional justice and accountability initiatives across the region. Established in February 2017, TJAN member organisations include Asia Justice and Rights as network secretariat and KontraS Aceh (Indonesia), ND-Burma (Myanmar), Suriya Women’s Development Centre (Sri Lanka), Alternative Law Groups (Philippines) and the Cross Cultural Foundation (Thailand). The network has since organised two regional workshops in Bali and Aceh, Indonesia, a public seminar entitled “The Role of Truth in Strengthening Peace in Asia” along with local transitional justice-related initiatives and a series of publications.
