\"\"This policy paper, published by Yayasan PASKA Aceh and Asia Justice and Rights (AJAR) examines the memorialization of Rumoh Geudong, a former site of atrocities during the Aceh conflict. It highlights the importance of victim-centered memorialization as a form of symbolic reparation, truth-seeking, and collective remembrance to prevent future violence. The study critiques the lack of victim participation in the government-led project and advocates for a more inclusive approach, integrating victims\u2019 voices in the design, management, and educational use of the memorial site. It presents key recommendations, including the establishment of a prayer space, mini museum, and memorial park, as envisioned by survivors and their families. This policy paper has been submitted to the Aceh Truth and Reconciliation Commission (KKR Aceh).
