To commemorate International Day for the Right to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims, AJAR, with IKOHI, Indonesia untuk Kemanusiaan, and KONTRAS, supported by KKPK (Coalition of Justice & Truth), hold two-day event with ‘Long Journey Home‘ as the main theme.
On the first day (March, 23rd), we would screen “Nina & The Stolen Children” — AJAR’s movie about the stolen children of Timor-Leste during conflict in 1975-1999. On the next day (March, 24th), there would be screening “Saudara dalam Sejarah” (Brothers in History) — a movie depicting Indonesian exiles in Europe that couldn’t come back to Indonesia.
